n8n Adds Built-In AI Assistant to Speed Up Workflow Building
n8n has launched an in-editor AI Assistant that explains node configuration, suggests fixes for broken workflows, and answers platform questions without leaving the canvas. It reduces the need to consult docs or forums mid-build, shortening the time it takes non-specialist staff to construct or repair automations.
What changes for operators — For a 10-200 person company running sales, support or ops workflows on n8n — whether built in-house or by a consultancy like INITE — this lowers the cost of maintenance. A support lead who needs to tweak a ticket-routing workflow, or an ops manager debugging a broken CRM sync, can now get contextual help inside the tool instead of waiting on a developer or filing a support ticket. It doesn't replace the judgment needed to design a workflow correctly, but it does cut the friction of small fixes and configuration questions, which is often what stalls automation projects after the initial build.
