Pika MCP server
Which MCP servers are Pika's own, from the official registry and from asking its own domain, whether they answer, and what they offer. A program checked each of these, nobody copied them from a product page.

- Addresshttps://mcp.pika.art/mcpnot in the official registry: answered when asked
No entry in the official MCP registry names this server. It answered on pika.art when the Atlas asked at the address servers are usually mounted on, so it is the vendor's own. Clients and catalogues that list servers from the registry do not show it.

Said by rules from the measurements above. The likely first call is a model's pick from the tool list; read its description before relying on it.

Worth a look
- Tools that change data, on a server that answers without a sign-in: create_audio, create_image, create_speech, create_video, edit_image
A program checks the server once a day: initialize and tools/list, no model. Tokens are the definitions' length at about four characters a token. The grade averages six checks of every tool's name, description, schema and annotations; it says how well the tools are described, not whether they work. The score weighs what was measured and nothing else: answering (25%), doing the product's job (25%), definitions (20%), context (10%), use (10%) and how readily a client connects (10%). A part that was not measured is left out, and a hidden instruction caps the score at 40. The state of vendors' MCP servers: method and numbers →

create_imageGenerate an image from a prompt, or from a prompt and reference images up to the model's cap; write @image1 in the prompt to point at the first reference. For several takes, pass prompts in one call.

create_videoGenerate a video from a prompt, a start frame, or reference images, clips and audio. Model pika animates between image_url and end_image_url. seedance-25 reframes a clip in video_urls to the target aspect_ratio, recomposing it with the…
edit_imageEdit a photo from instructions, pinned spots and reference images, such as restaging a product photo in a setting from reference_urls; in instructions @image1 is the photo and @image2 the first of reference_urls.
edit_videoEdit a source clip in video_urls from a prompt (model seedance-25 or gemini-omni); the result keeps the clip's timing and framing.
podcast_creatorRender one segment of a video podcast episode with Seedance 2.5 and native audio, from the dialogue you planned for it, with host and guest photos as identity references (text-to-video without photos). Run it once per segment, same…

browse_appsThe app gallery for the apps view: the apps matching the query (all without one), best match first.
get_jobRead a job. `done` once `status` is finished, failed or canceled; a moderation refusal fails with CONTENT_VIOLATION. A job not done has `poll_after_s`, the seconds before reading it again. `preview: true` returns up to four outputs…
list_jobsRead the user's jobs as data, newest first, with outputs; shows the user nothing (show_creations does). Pass `next_cursor` back as `cursor` for the next page.
show_creationsOpen the user's Pika library view: recent creations, newest first, or one (finished or running) given `job_id`, to preview, download or pick one to reuse; read the pick with get_panel. For data only, use list_jobs. Free.
cancel_jobCancel a job that is not done. A job canceled before it starts is refunded.
prepare_uploadUse this when you can run a command with internet access where the user's file is (their machine, or your sandbox that has it); for a chat attachment, upload_file (if offered); otherwise show_upload. Returns a presigned URL and a curl…

save_uploadSave an uploaded file to the user's Pika library. Free.
show_uploadUse this for the user's image, video or audio file that you can't upload yourself with upload_file (if offered) or prepare_upload. Shows the user an upload card; read what they uploaded with get_panel. Not for an app run with show_presets…
list_appsList Pika's apps as data (id, name, what each makes); shows the user nothing.
list_presetsList Pika's curated presets for one app (`pika`: every themed set), or one of its collections (camera moves, voices), with each preset's slots, as data; shows the user nothing. Where the app's tool takes a `prompt`, a look the user…
get_presetRead one of Pika's curated presets as data, with its slots and guide; shows the user nothing.

show_appsShow the user the Pika app gallery to pick an app from. Read their pick with get_panel.
show_presetsShow the user Pika's curated presets for one app, or one of its collections (e.g. voices), to pick from. `inputs` prefill slots you already have, e.g. the user's photo url. Read their pick with get_panel.
show_presetShow the user the form of one of Pika's curated presets, prefilled from `inputs` (e.g. the user's photo url), for them to complete and run.
save_panelSave what the user uploaded or picked in a panel, so the panel restores it and get_panel reads it. Free. Pass the revision you last saw as expected_revision so an older copy's late save can't overwrite a newer pick; a stale one fails with…
get_panelRead what the user uploaded or picked in a Pika card you opened (by its panel_id), once they say they did; `status` is waiting until then.
get_view_placeRead where the user last was in the Pika view opened from one tool result, and the card's started run and drafts. Free.
save_view_placeSave where the user is in the Pika view opened from one tool result, or the card's started run and drafts, so reopening it returns there. Free.
get_accountThe user's Pika credit balance, saved approval mode (how Pika asks before running) and about (what they make). Read it once early, before the first run.
show_settingsUse this when the user wants to choose or change how Pika asks before running. Shows their approval mode for them to pick; open no other Pika view in the same turn, since it would replace this one.
set_preferencesOverwrite the user's saved Pika preferences, which decide when runs spend credits without asking. Use this only when the user picks an approval mode, confirms your summary of what they make (about), or asks for a change. Each field you…
search_mentionsSearch Pika apps and the user's recent creations for the composer's @-mentions.
list_projectsList the user's projects, newest first; pass `next_cursor` back as `cursor`. Shows nothing; show_projects opens the gallery.

rename_projectRename a project.
get_projectRead a project as data: its timeline as numbered clips, and the items not yet placed. Shows nothing; show_projects with project_id opens its timeline.
add_mediaAdd an uploaded file (a media_url from prepare_upload, upload_file or the upload card) to a project and the user's Library; returns the `source` add_clips and save_timeline take. Not for a job's output, already in its project. Free.
add_clipsPlace results on the timeline at `revision`, in order. v1 clips stay back to back; other lanes use `at`. Returns the new numbered timeline.
update_clipChange one clip at `revision`: its source, trim, volume, or place. v1 clips stay back to back; other lanes use `at`. Returns the new numbered timeline.
remove_clipsRemove clips from the timeline at `revision`; later v1 clips close the gap. Returns the new numbered timeline.
update_timelineChange the timeline's size, frame rate, or lane volumes at `revision`. Returns the new numbered timeline.
save_timelineReplace the whole timeline at `expected_revision`, keeping each given clip_id. For the timeline view; the model uses add_clips, update_clip, remove_clips and update_timeline.
export_projectRender the timeline to an MP4 (free). Uses the current revision unless `revision` is given.
get_exportRead an export's status and `download_url`. `wait_s` waits up to that long for `done` (0 reads at once).

How to connect
Add the server to your MCP client config. Claude Desktop, Cursor and most other clients read this shape:
{
"mcpServers": {
"pika": {
"type": "http",
"url": "https://mcp.pika.art/mcp"
}
}
}Add it
Claude Code, in a terminal
claude mcp add --transport http pika https://mcp.pika.art/mcpclaude.ai, ChatGPT and other clients: add https://mcp.pika.art/mcp as a custom connector in the settings.
Each line is something a program found when it went looking: the registry entry, the server's own answer, a spec that parses. A missing line means we did not find it, not that it does not exist.
