rankcusp MCP server

Which MCP servers are rankcusp's own, from the official registry and from asking its own domain, whether they answer, and what they offer. A program checked each of these, nobody copied them from a product page.

  • Registry namecom.rankcusp/asoverified in the MCP registry

The registry name sits under rankcusp.com. The registry only lets a publisher use that namespace after proving control of the domain through DNS or HTTP.

Once connected

  • For "Check which keyword field characters are wasted", the likely first call is audit_metadata.
  • add_keywords change data without a sign-in: anyone with the address can call them.
  • Parameters are untyped or undescribed in 3 of 9 tools: check arguments before calling.

Said by rules from the measurements above. The likely first call is a model's pick from the tool list; read its description before relying on it.

What an agent can do with it

  • can do · Find keywords where an app ranks 11 to 30
  • can do · Check which keyword field characters are wasted
  • not sure · Track rivals' rank and metadata changes daily

Each of the product's use cases, put to Jev against this server's tool list: can an agent do it with these tools?

Worth a look

  • Tools that change data, on a server that answers without a sign-in: add_keywords

A program checks the server once a day: initialize and tools/list, no model. Tokens are the definitions' length at about four characters a token. The grade averages six checks of every tool's name, description, schema and annotations; it says how well the tools are described, not whether they work. The score weighs what was measured and nothing else: answering (25%), doing the product's job (25%), definitions (20%), context (10%), use (10%) and how readily a client connects (10%). A part that was not measured is left out, and a hidden instruction caps the score at 40. The state of vendors' MCP servers: method and numbers →

Tools it offers9 tools · read 2026-10-25
  • list_apps

    Lists the apps and rivals tracked on the account. The appId and storefront codes the other tools want come from here.

  • list_keywords

    Lists an app's keywords in one storefront, with rank, popularity and difficulty.

  • get_keyword

    One keyword: its rank, its scores, its first page and the verdict - should it be targeted, and why. Every unmeasured value comes back null, never zero.

  • audit_metadata

    Audits a draft title, subtitle and 100-character keyword field against Apple's rules and against each other. Returns what is wasted, what Apple will actually index, and the field rewritten without the waste. Nothing is submitted anywhere…

  • country_priorities

    Ranks the storefronts an app is tracked in by how much is winnable there: how many keywords sit in the cusp band, how many already reach the top ten, and whether the rivals' ratings leave an opening. Answers which market to work on first.

  • ranking_keywords

    Which keywords an app is already ranking for, from the pooled record of every search this product has run. Works on any App Store id, not only the ones on this account - point it at a rival to read theirs. Apple publishes no endpoint for…

  • keyword_competitors

    Who ranks for a phrase, deeper than the ten the first page carries. Use it to find the rivals a first-page reading misses - an app at 40 for a phrase you sit at 60 for is the one to study.

  • add_keywords

    Adds keywords to an app's tracked set in one storefront. Takes a list or a comma-separated paste. They arrive unscored - scoring costs requests to Apple and happens on the collector's schedule - so do not read a null popularity here as a…

  • cusp_actions

    The keywords in the 11-30 band, ordered by popularity. The work list a metadata edit pays off on most.

How to connect

Add the server to your MCP client config. Claude Desktop, Cursor and most other clients read this shape:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "aso": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://rankcusp.com/api/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Add it

Claude Code, in a terminal

claude mcp add --transport http rankcusp https://rankcusp.com/api/mcp

Add to CursorAdd to VS Code

claude.ai, ChatGPT and other clients: add https://rankcusp.com/api/mcp as a custom connector in the settings.

Each line is something a program found when it went looking: the registry entry, the server's own answer, a spec that parses. A missing line means we did not find it, not that it does not exist.
