    Find alternative APIs similar to a given API id — prefers same category, falls back to same API type. limit must be 2 or 3 (default 3).

  • check_health

  • get_api_trust_score

    Get the Reqistry trust score for one API by id or slug. Score covers uptime, response time, docs quality, auth clarity, CORS, pricing clarity, freshness, and OpenAPI availability.

  • compare_apis

  • get_change_feed

    Read recent Reqistry API change events: pricing changes, docs moves, OpenAPI changes, health degradation/recovery, and trust-score changes.

  • get_use_case_collections

    Get curated use-case packs such as finance dashboards, free AI APIs, travel apps, and no-auth prototype APIs.

  • submit_api

    Submit a new API for review. Creates a 'pending' submission (not immediately published). At least name or link required. Email optional.

  • recommend_apis

    Get recommended APIs — personalized when the device has bookmarks, otherwise random picks. Optional limit (max 50).

How to connect

Add the server to your MCP client config. Claude Desktop, Cursor and most other clients read this shape:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "reqistry": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://mcp.reqistry.dev/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Each line is something a program found when it went looking: the registry entry, the server's own answer, a spec that parses. A missing line means we did not find it, not that it does not exist.
