Damper MCP server

Which MCP servers are Damper's own, from the official registry and from asking its own domain, whether they answer, and what they offer. A program checked each of these, nobody copied them from a product page.

  • Registry namecom.usedamper/mcpverified in the MCP registry

The registry name sits under usedamper.com. The registry only lets a publisher use that namespace after proving control of the domain through DNS or HTTP.

On 2026-10-30 the server answered initialize and tools/list without a sign-in. First answer in 251 ms.

Said by rules from the measurements above. The likely first call is a model's pick from the tool list; read its description before relying on it.

Worth a look

  • Tools that change data, on a server that answers without a sign-in: update_task, create_task, add_note, add_commit, create_subtask

A program checks the server once a day: initialize and tools/list, no model. Tokens are the definitions' length at about four characters a token. The grade averages six checks of every tool's name, description, schema and annotations; it says how well the tools are described, not whether they work. The score weighs what was measured and nothing else: answering (25%), doing the product's job (25%), definitions (20%), context (10%), use (10%) and how readily a client connects (10%). A part that was not measured is left out, and a hidden instruction caps the score at 40. The state of vendors' MCP servers: method and numbers →

  • list_review_artifacts

    List the API examples, screenshots and diagrams attached to a task, with the reviewer's verdict on each (approved / changes_requested + comment). Use it to check coverage before complete_task, and to find artifacts a reviewer asked you to…

  • remove_review_artifact

    Remove an API example, screenshot or diagram from a task, by id or by kind + key (e.g. a page that no longer changes).

  • start_task

    Lock and start a task. Fails if locked by another agent unless force=true. Use force=true to take over a task from another agent (e.g., if they abandoned it). Returns project context index with relevant sections for the task. If the…

  • review_task

    Optional standalone self-review step. You can also pass `selfAssessment` directly to `complete_task` instead. Reflect on your session: what project knowledge was missing, what tools were confusing, what process gaps caused friction. This…

  • complete_task

    Mark task as ready for review (in_review). A human will verify and move it to done. Pass `skipReview: true` to mark as done immediately (use when the human explicitly asks). If the task is already in_review (put there by a previous…

  • request_review

    Lightweight hand-off into review: move an in_progress task to in_review as soon as a human could review it (a working slice, an opened PR, attached screenshots or API examples, or when you are about to stop for the session). Do not leave…

  • abandon_task

    Release lock and return task to planned status. Works for in_progress and in_review tasks. **Before calling:** 1. Push any WIP commits **Summary parameter:** What was done, what remains, blockers. Helps the next agent.

  • list_context_sections

    List available project context sections with brief previews.

How to connect

Add the server to your MCP client config. Claude Desktop, Cursor and most other clients read this shape:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "usedamper": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://api.usedamper.com/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Add it

Claude Code, in a terminal

claude mcp add --transport http usedamper https://api.usedamper.com/mcp

Add to CursorAdd to VS Code

claude.ai, ChatGPT and other clients: add https://api.usedamper.com/mcp as a custom connector in the settings.

Each line is something a program found when it went looking: the registry entry, the server's own answer, a spec that parses. A missing line means we did not find it, not that it does not exist.
