Claude for Small Business adds 43 workflows and 27 integrations, plus a fall training tour

Short answer

Anthropic expanded Claude for Small Business with 43 workflows and 27 new integrations (Shopify, Salesforce, Xero, Gusto, Stripe, Zapier and more), covering lead response, proposal writing, monthly close and reporting. The product has been installed over 900,000 times since its May launch. A fall training tour with free workshops in 10 US cities accompanies the release.

What this means for operators

For a company running sales and ops with 10-200 people, the workflows on offer map directly onto tasks that currently eat an owner's or ops lead's time: a Monday brief pulled from 37 possible connectors, after-hours lead qualification and CRM logging, proposal generation priced from past jobs, and a monthly close that reconciles across payroll, card spend and sales settlements. The governance model is the part worth checking before adopting any of it: every workflow defaults to approval mode, existing software permissions carry over unchanged, and Anthropic states it does not train on business data by default on Team and Enterprise plans. That's the detail an operations lead should verify against their own compliance requirements rather than assume from the marketing copy — the connector list, the approval gate, and who can see what once Claude is wired into finance and CRM systems.

Anthropic has expanded Claude for Small Business with 43 workflows and 27 new integrations, adding tools including Shopify, Salesforce, TikTok, Atlassian, Zoom, Xero, Gusto, Square, Stripe and Zapier to a product line that launched in May and has since been installed more than 900,000 times.

The release runs inside Claude Cowork, a desktop app connecting Claude to a business's existing files and tools. Named workflows include a Monday Brief that compiles cash position, pipeline movement and overdue invoices from up to 37 connectors; a Speed-to-Lead workflow that drafts replies to inbound inquiries and logs them to CRM across 15 connectors; a Proposal Builder that prices and drafts client proposals from voice memos or past jobs across 17 connectors; a Social Content Engine for drafting and staging weekly content across 16 connectors; and a Close-the-Month workflow that reconciles books against sales settlements, card spend and payroll across 14 connectors.

All workflows default to an approval mode: Claude drafts and stages work and waits for owner sign-off before anything sends, posts or pays, with the option to switch individual workflows to run automatically once an owner is comfortable. Anthropic says existing software permissions carry through unchanged — an employee who cannot see a file in QuickBooks or Google Drive today cannot see it through Claude — and that it does not train on business data by default on Team and Enterprise plans.

Anthropic says the release was shaped by feedback from more than 1,000 owners across 10 cities on its spring SMB Tour, about a third of whom asked for help generating leads, answering inquiries and writing proposals. The company also cited case examples: a Dallas bookkeeping firm using Claude to isolate a $13,000 discrepancy across tens of thousands of PayPal transactions, and a baby-products retailer attributing $60,000 in sales in four days to a Claude-built lead-capture tool.

A fall Claude SMB Tour begins this week with partner Tenex, running free half-day workshops in Boston, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Minneapolis, Phoenix, Memphis, Savannah, Bentonville, Tampa and Raleigh. Separately, more than 150 organizations trained as Approved Claude SMB Trainers plan to run over 750 community workshops, and 14 integration partners are hosting free webinars on their connectors. Anthropic has also begun naming SMB-focused consulting partners and system integrators in its Claude Partner Network, including A.team, AnswerRocket, Caylent, Grid Dynamics and Loka, with more to be added.
