Our shipped cases are in equipment rental, real estate, and private clinics — not logistics. We are saying that plainly rather than borrowing a number and letting the industry label slide, because that is the behavior our own vendor-selection guide tells buyers to walk away from.
What does transfer is the shape. Booking-to-dispatch in rental is the same problem as order-to-dispatch in freight: an event arrives through an unstructured channel, availability has to be checked deterministically, and a human is doing the translation in between. In rental we took that from 4 hours to 3 minutes and eliminated double-bookings. What does not transfer is domain specifics — customs paperwork, carrier integrations, and regulated freight documentation are a learning curve on our side, and diagnostics is where we find out how steep it is.

A rules engine breaks on the twenty-first layout; a model reads the document and extracts the fields, and where it is unsure it says so instead of guessing. What we measure first is how many of your orders are genuinely ambiguous, because that number sets the ceiling on what can run unattended.
- What happens when an order is ambiguous?
- It stops and goes to a dispatcher with the reason attached. The rule is the same everywhere we apply it: a system allowed to guess about a commitment will eventually guess wrong on an expensive one. The point is not that nothing reaches a human, it is that only the genuinely unclear does.
